Job Reference

Traceability Labels

Generate a scannable QR code or barcode per piece, encoding PO, part, heat, job card, material and piece sequence (e.g. 23 of 50) — for physical tags stuck on cut pieces.

1. Material & Blade

This is the material width actually lost per cut (blade backing gauge), not the blade width above. Auto-suggested from blade width — override with the actual blade spec printed on the band.
Recommended: minimum 3 teeth in contact with the section at all times. Tool auto-suggests TPI band below based on stock size.

2. Stock Section

mm
inch
Round Bar
Square Bar
Flat / Rect
Pipe / Tube
e.g. blanks required from a bar / heat lot
Piece length drives total number of cuts and material yield. Bar length is used to calculate bars required and drop-end scrap, accounting for kerf loss per cut.

3. Feed & Downtime Allowance

Feed pressure factor scales the base material removal rate to reflect blade/machine condition and clamping rigidity.

4. Weight, Cost & Blade Life

Blade life auto-suggested from material abrasiveness and section size — override with actual blade spec / shop-floor data when available.

5. Multi-Bar Stock Optimizer

Enter available bar lengths currently in stock (racks / heat lots). Tool allocates pieces across bars to minimize bar consumption and scrap, using the Cut Length per Piece and Pieces Required entered in Section 2.
Leftover length on a bar at or above this is returnable "Balance Stock" for future jobs; below this it's counted as unusable "End Piece Scrap".
